Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Business System Analyst (Governance) for a remote contract role. The candidate will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Risk teams to assess architectural hygiene, resiliency, and maintainability while identifying risks and opportunities for modernization.

The role emphasizes governance standards, process improvement, and reporting across enterprise systems, middleware, and data flows in a financial services context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in systems support, analytics, or operations.
• Experience partnering with architecture, engineering, security, and risk teams.
• Banking/financial services tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current-state and target-state architectures for alignment with tech direction.
• Analyze architectures, interfaces, data flows, and dependencies to identify risks.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide scalability, security, and maintainability recommendations.
• Develop business capability mappings, process flows, and interaction models.
• Assess impact of changes across applications, platforms, and processes.
