Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Business System Analyst (Governance) for remote engagement. The role partners with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Risk teams to drive governance, architecture reviews, and operational improvements.

The candidate will assess system architectures, data flows, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with security and architectural standards while identifying opportunities for modernization and efficiency gains across enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Analytical background with enterprise systems and governance focus is required.
• Experience partnering with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Risk teams is expected.
• Ability to assess architectural hygiene, resiliency, and maintainability across complex solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Architecture and Engineering to evaluate current-state and target-state architectures.
• Analyze APIs, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies for risks and improvements.
• Participate in architecture reviews and design sessions; advise on security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain business capability maps, process flows, and system interaction models.
• Assess technical impact of changes across applications, platforms, and processes.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, security requirements, and risk frameworks.
• Identify technology risks with Security, Compliance, and Audit teams and mitigate them.
• Report on governance effectiveness and develop KPIs and dashboards.
• Lead governance frameworks, reference docs, and user guidelines across the enterprise.
• Drive continuous improvement using data and stakeholder feedback.
