UVA Health is seeking a Senior Director, Finance to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen financial operations, modernize systems, and advance the One UVA vision. This remote leadership role reports to senior UVA Health finance leadership and operates at the intersection of finance, accounting, treasury, technology, data, and organizational transformation.
The role partners with university and health-system leaders to translate strategic priorities into durable, scalable solutions,
Qualifications
- 10+ years of senior finance experience in academic medical centers or integrated health systems.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide finance transformation and system modernization.
- CPA licensure or advanced degree preferred.
Responsabilités
- Lead enterprise finance transformation aligned to One UVA and broader modernization.
- Guide cross-functional teams to standardize and automate financial processes.
- Oversee Workday financial functionality implementations and optimization.
- Translate complex financial needs into practical system and process solutions.
- Establish governance, controls, and measures of success for finance initiatives.
- Communicate with executive leadership to inform business decisions.
