Job summary

Software AG is seeking an experienced AI Architect to spearhead AI integration across Adabas, Natural, CONNX, and JOPAZ, delivering AI-enabled software for diverse sectors. You will lead initiatives with customers and internal teams to translate business goals into concrete AI features and roadmaps.

You will develop prototypes and MVPs, stay ahead of AI trends, and mentor teams in an agile environment to drive successful AI-powered modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software architecture, data integration, or solution engineering.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with generative AI in production.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic AI, and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI innovation and contribute to product roadmap within Adabas & Natural ecosystem.
• Collaborate with customers to identify AI opportunities and translate into features.
• Design robust, scalable AI products and capabilities with partners for integrated solutions.
• Create prototypes and MVPs with real customer data.
• Monitor competitors and represent Software AG in industry groups.
• Coordinate with product, engineering and solution architects to deliver AI capabilities.
• Present thought leadership at events and in written content.
• Upskill internal teams via training sessions and workshops.
