Infosys Limited, a global leader in digital services, seeks an Architecture Consultant 3 for the Mainframes domain in the United States. You will design and review architectures for large modernization programs, guiding COBOL to Java transitions and data flows across systems.

You will oversee architecture artifacts, risk assessments, and technology evaluation, collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that meet business goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mainframes Architect on large modernization programs.
• Lead assessment of legacy mainframe applications, batch workloads, interfaces, and databases.
• Define modernization strategies and end-to-end architecture designs.

Responsibilities

• Create business requirement documents covering functional and non-functional needs.
• Review and develop solution architecture aligned with scalable, reliable designs.
• Assess technologies and platforms to meet business requirements.
• Review solutions and plan integration across technologies for data flow.
• Address complex technical challenges during build, deploy, and support.
• Provide insights to development teams and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Identify risks and suggest optimization aligned with long-term goals.
• Develop architecture artifacts like diagrams and deployment models.
