Job summary

NewSchool of Architecture and Design is seeking an Enrollment Support Specialist to be the face and voice for prospective students. You will respond to inquiries, qualify leads, and coordinate seamless handoffs to Enrollment Specialists to begin the design journey.

The role requires 1–2 years in high-volume customer service or admissions, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with Element 451 and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–2 years of high-volume customer service, inside sales, or higher education admissions.
• Working knowledge of CRM software, Element 451, preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must possess confident telephone presence
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Act as the 'first responder' to all new student inquiries via phone, email, and web forms.
• Conduct initial discovery calls to screen prospective students for program of interest, background, and motivation.
• Execute 'warm transfers' by connecting qualified leads to an Enrollment Specialist in real-time.
• When Enrollment Specialist is unavailable, schedule follow-up consultations or campus tours using staff booking links.
• Monitor and manage the general Enrollment email inbox with timely responses per SLAs.
• Operate the general admissions phone line and route callers to appropriate departments (Financial Aid, Registrar, etc.).
• Maintain high energy and brand alignment in every interaction.
• Log all interactions and lead status updates within the CRM (Element451/Risely.AI).
• Coordinate and manage campus tour calendars and visits.
• Follow up on no-show inquiries to reschedule and maintain top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Prepare and maintain weekly progress, conversion, and related reports.
• Maintain knowledge of programs, processes, and policies at NewSchool; compare to competitors.
• Use professional communication daily with students in person, by phone, and via email/text.
