Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is expanding its Corporate Quality organization and seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen our Quality Management System across a diverse, technically complex portfolio.

The role emphasizes auditing internal operations, suppliers, and project execution across regulated or engineering environments. This position can be based in any ENERCON office and may be remote within the US for senior candidates, with strong emphasis on continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline or equivalent technical training/work experience.
• 6+ years of quality assurance experience in a highly regulated or engineering consulting-driven environment.
• Lead Auditor experience or certification is highly preferred and desirable.
• Experience auditing engineering design packages, internal processes, and suppliers; familiarity with 10 CFR Part 21, 50 Appendix B, and ISO 9001 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform internal audits and supplier audits and surveillances as a certified Lead Auditor; enforce requirements and stop nonconforming work.
• Review purchase orders, contracts, task orders, and agreements to ensure flow-down of quality requirements.
• Review, revise, and improve quality procedures; support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and QA Program.
• Prepare, issue, and manage Corrective Action Reports; perform causal analysis and verify corrective action effectiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations to resolve quality issues.
