Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead capital planning and project execution across multiple U.S. and Canadian facilities. The role oversees a 5-year capital plan and drives a structured Initiative Management process to ensure successful delivery of key projects.

You will mentor a high-performing engineering team, partner with operations and IT, and travel ~50% to sites across North America, aiming for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in projects and capital planning.
• Formal project management training or certifications are a plus.
• Experience with utility systems, wastewater pretreatment, ingredient handling, food processing and packaging systems is preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of Lean Capital Initiative Management processes.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to propose adaptable solutions.
• Comfortable communicating, presenting and influencing senior leadership on technical issues.
• Proficient with CAD/Drafting and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site capital planning and execution across manufacturing facilities (US & Canada).
• Guide a high-performing engineering team to develop and execute a 5-year capital plan.
• Oversee capital initiatives using the Initiative Management process and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet engineering needs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, EHS and IT to deliver goals.
