KIRA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team building and scaling products used by millions across the region. You will guide engineers, shape architecture, and drive delivery from idea to production while ensuring quality and speed.

You will operate across people, product and technology—setting a high bar for engineering excellence, while delivering customer and business outcomes in a remote, global team.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production systems experience.
• Proven experience leading software engineers and delivering engineering work.
• Depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to make architecture trade-offs balancing speed, scalability and maintainability.
• Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across frontend, backend and full stack development.
• Own engineering delivery for major product areas ensuring timely, reliable outputs.
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend and AI teams to translate problems into actionable execution.
• Set engineering standards around code quality, design, testing, observability, security and reliability.
• Drive architecture decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, and production systems.
• Mentor engineers through feedback, coaching and performance expectations.
