Tallo is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers that build our platform to fulfill our mission. This is a people-first leadership role focused on growth, coaching, and shipping meaningful software.

You will partner with product, design, and other technology leaders to set direction, attract top engineering talent, and keep the team unblocked as we tackle architecture, deployment, and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Proven track record developing people and building strong team cultures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to influence decisions and present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience delivering production software across full product lifecycle.
• Understanding of application architecture, integration, deployment, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support engineers on the team with regular feedback.
• Partner with product, design, and technology leaders to set direction and priorities.
• Attract and retain engineering talent and build a team people want to be part of.
• Keep the team unblocked and deliver reliable software.
• Lead technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
• Identify opportunities for innovation in products and tooling.
