Job summary

TokenBrickLabs, a Seattle-based blockchain studio, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a remote squad spanning protocol, backend, and product engineering. You will set delivery bar, grow people, and maintain high technical standards for institutional partners.

You will hire and coach engineers, align with Product and Design on roadmaps, and ensure quality through reviews, testing, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in people management.
• Experience shipping production fintech or regulated systems.
• Strong hiring and IC mentoring abilities.
• Excellent written communication and asynchronous/global teamwork.
• Ability to review architectures and unblock teams without taking over.

Responsibilities

• Lead a remote engineering team: hiring, coaching, performance, and career paths.
• Own delivery against the product roadmap—scope, sequencing, and quality.
• Create clarity in tokenization and compliance work; protect focus.
• Partner with Product and Design on trade-offs; represent engineering in leadership forums.
• Uphold engineering practices: reviews, testing, incident response, and documentation.
• Stay close to Stack: TypeScript, Solidity, cloud to inform decisions.
