JustMarkets is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team of up to 10 engineers across backend, frontend, and mobile. You will own delivery, quality, and technical outcomes while partnering with Product, Trading, and leadership to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

The role emphasizes architectural guidance for hybrid infrastructure, high availability, and observability of production systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in an Engineering Manager role leading multiple squads.
• Strong technical background in mobile and web engineering.
• Background in financial systems, trading platforms, or other high-reliability domains.
• Experience operating systems on AWS (EC2, networking, security, monitoring).
• Experience with on-premise infrastructure and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with observability tools and performance monitoring.
• Advanced Ukrainian and Upper-Intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams up to 10 engineers (backend, frontend, mobile).
• Own delivery, quality, and technical outcomes for your teams.
• Partner with Product, Trading, and Senior Engineering leadership to translate requirements into execution.
• Drive and evolve engineering processes: planning, estimation, CI/CD, code reviews, testing, release management.
• Guide architectural decisions for systems on hybrid infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and observability of production systems.
• Identify and reduce technical debt while maintaining delivery velocity.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and grow engineers; conduct 1:1s and performance reviews.
