Electric Power Engineers, Inc. (EPE) is seeking a dynamic Manager to lead our Energy Market Analysis - ERCOT team. You will work with senior leadership to guide growth, oversee analyses of congestion, LMP, and market design, and drive strategic opportunities across ERCOT projects.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in the electric energy industry with power flow modeling, transmission planning, and market analysis.
• Experience with PSSE/MUST, SCED analysis, and multiple market structures (PJM, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, CAISO).
• Experience in resource planning, market design, renewable energy finance, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and technical aptitude; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
• Significant knowledge of ERCOT market is a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the ERCOT team, driving growth and client delivery.
• Conduct congestion and basis risk analyses for ERCOT projects and regional planning.
• Lead transmission load flow and LMP analyses.
• Develop strategy on site selection and market opportunities for each project.
• Oversee project staffing, budgets, and timelines to ensure quality delivery.
• Engage with clients and industry groups on market developments and regulatory changes.
• Mentor staff and ensure compliance with quality standards and IP protection.
• Stay informed of policy changes and conduct research on interconnection and market rules.
