Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Discovery Experience team, owning the Homepage—the first screen millions see every day. You will shape product and technical direction, partnering with Product, Design, Data Science, and ML teams to deliver impactful optimization at scale.

You will build and coach a high-performing, inclusive team, manage roadmaps, and ensure reliability, performance, and a superior user experience across iOS, Android, and Web.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in management.
• Experience leading BE, Android, iOS and Web engineering teams.
• Strong product sense and collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and translate non-technical requirements.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance discovery experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the Homepage discovery surface end-to-end.
• Define roadmap and drive execution with Product, Design, Data Science, ML teams.
• Coach and grow a high-performing, inclusive engineering team.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and user experience at scale.
• Architect backend systems and APIs for a fast, personalized homepage.
