Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Discovery Experience team responsible for the Homepage—the first and most visited surface for millions of consumers. You will own both product and technical direction, shaping the discovery surface for the future with LLM-assisted, real-time signals across iOS, Android, and Web.

You will mentor engineers across BE/Android/iOS/Web, drive the roadmap, collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and ML partners, and ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of industry experience, including at least 2 years in management.
• Experience leading BE, Android, iOS, and Web engineering teams.
• Strong product sense and ability to partner with cross-functional peers.
• Hands-on with non-technical stakeholders and experience building scalable products in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to guide and grow an engineering team in a rapidly changing business environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of product-focused full-stack engineers.
• Own product and technical direction for the discovery surface and set the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and ML/Recommendation Platform partners to ship experiences.
• Drive quality, velocity, and consumer impact of the Homepage.
• Architect backend systems and APIs to deliver fast, personalized experiences across platforms.
