Job summary
DoorDash USA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Mobile Developer Experience team, delivering foundational components and architectural direction for iOS and Android monorepos. You’ll partner with senior engineers and product leaders to empower engineers to build, ship, and operate mobile apps at scale across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
You’ll shape the team culture, mentor engineers, and drive strategic initiatives while balancing reliability, speed, and developer joy.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Expert proficiency in Android or iOS development.
- 3+ years leading engineering teams.
- Strong bias for action and pragmatic problem-solving.
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact.
- Ability to build quality software while delivering customer value.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Mobile Developer Experience team and set technical vision.
- Nurture culture required to build world-class mobile applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to design scalable systems.
