Job summary

Bluebeam, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee the development of a customer-facing web application and lead a team of engineers. You will work hands-on with cross-functional partners to drive architectural decisions, delivery reliability, and product quality.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, set team goals, manage budgets, and remove blockers. The role emphasizes communication, collaboration, and a strong engineering leadership mindset to scale our web platform.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software industry with progressive growth in responsibility.
• 4+ years technical leadership and managing teams of 6+ engineers.
• Experience leading customer-facing web applications.
• Strong communication and leadership with Agile delivery.
• Hands-on in Go, C#, or TypeScript.
• Experience with React and modern frontend patterns.
• Experience with AWS cloud, containers, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead team(s) throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, retain and inspire engineers and tech leads.
• Set and track goals with each team member.
• Participate in budget planning and expense approval.
• Resolve roadblocks across technical and human factors.
• Present facts to stakeholders to drive quality decisions.
• Communicate clearly and provide 360-degree clarity.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, engineers and QA to deliver excellence.
• Participate in engineering on-call rotation.
