Job summary

Bluebeam, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Innovations Team, guiding emerging initiatives from discovery to delivery and coordinating across Product and Engineering. You will mentor engineers, shape cross-functional programs, and remove blockers to accelerate net-new technologies.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a proven track record delivering ambiguous, high-impact projects. Remote-friendly with a focus on collaboration and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, or closely related technical roles with progressive growth in responsibility.
• Excellent people management skills leading engineering teams across multiple initiatives, systems, and regions.
• Demonstrated experience delivering ambiguous, net-new, or innovation focused technical initiatives from concept through execution.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering leadership on resource planning, prioritization, and roadmap or delivery planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Cloud certificates such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate are a plus.
• Web development experience (frontend or backend) is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead Innovation engineering initiatives from discovery through delivery, translating ambiguous opportunities into executable plans, clear ownership, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage and develop direct-report engineers, including performance management, coaching, career development, and day-to-day support for assigned team members.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to shape cross-functional initiatives, align priorities, and create practical paths to deliver new capabilities across multiple engineering teams.
• Unblock teams by identifying organizational, technical, and process barriers and driving collaborative solutions that accelerate delivery of net-new technologies.
• Serve as a primary connection point between Innovation and distributed or acquired engineering teams, helping integrate efforts, clarify responsibilities, and improve operating cadence.
