Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly skilled Engineering leader to advance enterprise Model Based Design, Definition, Manufacturing, and Inspection (MB DMI) capabilities. You will serve as a subject matter expert for MBD and MBI while driving interoperability strategy and cross-functional digital alignment.

You will lead the creation of standards, tools, and processes to enable machine-readable MBD, CMM/CAI workflows, and PMI across Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams, strengthening Pratt

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 12+ years, or advanced degree with 10+ years.
• 7+ years of leadership experience with focus on results and teamwork.
• Experience in MBD authoring, GD&T, PMI, and digital product specification.
• Experience with model-based inspection workflows (CMM/CAI, PMI).
• Proficiency with NX, Teamcenter, or comparable CAD/PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of rules and digital behaviors for machine-readable MBD.
• Develop enterprise standards and tools for MBD and MBI initiatives.
• Drive interoperability strategies with strategic partners.
• Ensure downstream consumption of MBD across Engineering, Operations, and Quality.
• Support model-based inspection workflows including CMM/CAI and PMI.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, and Quality to mature the digital thread.
• Enable robust, repeatable model-centric processes aligned with enterprise goals.
