Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly skilled Performance and Operability Methods Engineer to advance propulsion modeling by enhancing NPSS toolchains, refining PMDO workflows, and strengthening automation and CI/CD systems. You will lead MBSE, MDAO, and digital engineering practices while partnering with discipline teams to drive engineering excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM is required.
10+ years of relevant experience, or 7+ with an advanced degree.
Experience with software development in a structured environment.
Experience in systems engineering and/or enterprise tools.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate performance and operability methods tasks and ensure alignment with governance.
Provide PMDO process support including method development and workflow optimization.
Support NPSS System and Modeling across programs and customers, including updates and debugging.
Develop NPSS Tools and Core Library features to extend analytical capabilities.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to harmonize processes and deploy new capabilities.
Troubleshoot issues across modeling, automation, and data environments for reliability.
Support development of an AI Coding Assistant for NPSS model implementations.
