Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services is seeking an Engagement Manager II to lead multiple engagements, ensure high client satisfaction, and drive outcomes across delivery teams. The role requires strong PM skills, open-source tooling experience, and proactive stakeholder communication.

Based in a fully remote arrangement with travel as needed, the EM II will manage budgets, outcomes, and team performance while collaborating with sales for expansion opportunities. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).
• Strong analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing Red Hat OpenShift implementations, migrations, upgrades, or platform operations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience in project management fundamentals or as an acting Scrum Master.
• Exposure to professional services agreements and change management processes.
• Exposure to IT Managed Services and related IT certifications.
• Demonstrated project risk analysis and mitigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagements with varying delivery models to meet objectives on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain client relationships with stakeholders and align services to goals.
• Regularly inform stakeholders about progress, challenges, and results.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and profitability of engagements.
• Allocate and optimize resources across engagements for best outcomes.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management and clients.
• Lead larger engagement teams and mentor resources.
• Drive client satisfaction and retention through high-quality delivery.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling with sales partners.
