Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering, construction management, or architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5–8 years) as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Leadership to pull together remote teams into a high‑performing unit.
• Strong written and verbal communications and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam Revu.
• Baseline knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction project management activities.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise and train preconstruction engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate across departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Coordinate long lead procurement releases during LNTP phase.
• Define and create LNTPs.
• Research project design requirements and permits.
• Track schedule/budget changes with Engineering Manager.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations.
• Maintain reporting on cost forecasting and EAC.
• Manage project risk with mitigation plans.
• Build strong partnerships with Owner, Engineers, Vendors and Subcontractors.
