Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Remote Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead individual projects across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and closeout documentation.

The role requires coordinating multiple departments, maintaining cost control, and ensuring timely procurement and risk mitigation. The position is fully remote with travel around 25% and collaboration with internal teams to define LNTP scopes and release long lead items.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability to coordinate remote teams.
• Effective written and verbal communications and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction project activities and oversee cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare bid packages, solicit and evaluate bids, and set up the CMiC system.
• Collaborate with engineering, scheduling, procurement, and legal teams to define scopes and manage design constraints.
• Maintain timely cost forecasting and reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage risk and develop mitigation plans with project team operations management.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
