Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to provide leadership and oversight for a single, nationwide project.

You will coordinate with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and legal teams, guiding planning and execution in a fully remote role. Responsibilities include maintaining cost control, setting up CMiC, preparing bids, supervising engineers, and ensuring timely reporting of cost forecasts and POC for changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture degree, or equivalent.
• 5+ years field experience (Project Engineer/Assistant Superintendent) and 2+ years scheduling & estimating.
• Strong leadership and remote-team collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform all Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids; write project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate across departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Track design constraints and lead-times for long-lead items.
