Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to provide leadership and oversight for a single project. You will collaborate with engineering, scheduling, budgeting and closeout teams from a fully remote location. Location specifics will be discussed in the interview process.

Responsibilities include cost control, bid management, CMiC system administration, and cross-department coordination to ensure successful LNTP execution and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability in a remote environment and strong written/verbal communications.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and industry tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu).
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a preconstruction project across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and closeout documentation.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to define contract scopes of work.
• Track design changes impacting schedule and budget.
