Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a complex solar, storage and substation project portfolio remotely.

You will coordinate engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and change management across multiple departments, ensuring LNTP items are issued on time and procurement aligns with the plan. You will oversee cost control, CMiC setup, bid packages, and contract scope definitions, while guiding engineers and clerical staff in a fully remote

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Field experience (5-8 years) in project engineering or supervision.
• Strong leadership in remote environments and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages, solicit and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Track changes affecting schedule and budget; report to leadership.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings and support estimating reconciliation.
• Maintain timely reporting, cost forecasting and EAC.
