Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to oversee a remote project, coordinating with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement to deliver LNTP scope and contracts. You will drive cost control, bid packages, and project procedures while leading engineers and staff to a successful handoff.

Responsibilities include maintaining cost reporting, managing procurement, and ensuring timely owner communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Strong understanding of plans and specifications; field experience.
• Proven leadership in remote team environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Bluebeam Revu; knowledge of CMiC is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of contract law and project accounting; able to manage risk.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Total construction experience typically 5+ years; scheduling/estimating 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform all Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements
• Prepare billings and expedite payments
• Set up and maintain CMiC system; manage bid packages
• Write project procedures; review plans for completeness
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and staff
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, schedules
• Collaborate across departments to create contract scopes of work
• Monitor design constraints and lead times for long-lead items
• Develop LNTPs and track changes impacting schedule/budget
• Report cost forecasting and project closeout details to team
