Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead an LNTP-based project, coordinating across engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement in a fully remote role. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

You will supervise engineers and staff, manage cost forecasting, and collaborate with Owner and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and compliant contract scopes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Field experience (5–8 years) in project engineering or as Assistant Superintendent.
• Leadership to coordinate remote teams and diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate across departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Track design constraints and material lead-times for long-lead items.
• Define and create LNTPs and manage design iterations.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC.
• Manage project risk and mitigation plans.
