Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer- Energy Storage to support the preconstruction team in coordinating and delivering project outputs for profitability and schedule adherence.

This role partners with the project engineering team on design deliverables, RFIs, BOMs, and document control, with a fully remote work setup. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in Energy Storage construction or design, basic cost accounting, and solid reading of plans.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Energy Storage construction or design experience.
• Strong reading of plans and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Precon PM and engineering teams to maintain project documentation and systems.
• Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and general project engineering functions.
• Assist transition from preconstruction to construction by coordinating documentation, scope, LNTP, and readiness.
• Support development and review of EPC project execution plans and constructability reviews.
• Track design changes and cost implications, coordinating with engineering and project management to maintain alignment.
