Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer - Energy Storage to support the preconstruction team and manage deliverables to achieve profitability and schedule goals.

This remote role works with the project engineering team on design deliverables, RFIs, BOMs, and document management, with location details discussed in interviews. The role involves coordinating with engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations to validate design assumptions, schedule timelines, and

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Energy Storage construction or design-related experience or equivalent.
• Construction-related internship experience preferred.
• Energy Storage field experience a plus.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting.
• Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal English language communication skills.
• Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting.
• Drafting and advanced computer skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Precon PM and internal/external engineering teams to maintain project documentation and systems.
• Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and general project engineering functions.
• Coordinate documentation, scope definition, LNTP development, and readiness for project execution teams.
• Assist in development and review of CPM schedules and construction work plans to align deliverables and costs.
