Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer focused on Energy Storage to support the preconstruction team, coordinate deliverables, and help attain profitability and schedule goals.

This fully remote role works with the project engineering team on design deliverables, RFI management, BOM finalization, and documentation control. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in energy storage construction or design, basic cost accounting, and strong reading of plans.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Energy Storage construction or design-related experience.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting.
• Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Precon PM and engineering team to maintain project documentation (drawings, RFIs, submittals).
• Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and general project engineering functions.
• Assist in transitioning from preconstruction to construction with documentation, scope definition and LNTP development.
• Develop and review project schedules (CPM) and constructability reviews to align engineering, procurement, and field execution.
