Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer- Energy Storage to support the preconstruction team remotely. You will coordinate deliverables, manage RFIs, and assist the engineering team with BOMs and document control, ensuring profitability and schedule adherence.

The role requires 1–3 years of energy storage construction or design experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read plans. This position is fully remote with discussions during interviews.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Energy Storage construction or design-related experience.
• Energy Storage field experience a plus.
• Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective organizational and verbal English language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project documentation, RFIs, submittals and cost tracking with Precon PM and engineering teams.
• Track design changes and revisions impacting cost, schedule, or construction methods.
• Support EPC project execution planning, site logistics, and constructability reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, procurement and operations to validate design assumptions.
• Assist in transitioning from preconstruction to construction and ensure alignment with scope and schedules.
