Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer - Energy Storage to support the preconstruction team, coordinate deliverables, and help ensure profitability and on-time scheduling for nationwide energy storage projects. This role works closely with the project engineering team and will manage BOMs, RFIs, and document control.

The position is fully remote, with location expectations discussed during interview; candidates should have 1–3 years of energy storage construction/design

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Energy Storage construction or design-related experience.
• Experience with reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Precon PM and engineering teams to maintain project documentation (drawings, RFIs, submittals, procurement logs).
• Support cost tracking, safety planning, and general project engineering functions with engineering and Operations.
• Coordinate transition from preconstruction to construction: LNTP development and operational readiness.
