Job summary

SOLVE Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer- Energy Storage to support the preconstruction team, coordinate deliverables, and help achieve profitability and schedule goals. This fully remote role partners with the Project engineering team on design deliverables, RFI management, and BOM finalization.

The position emphasizes collaboration across engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations to validate assumptions, manage risks, and align schedules with cost targets for

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Energy Storage construction or design-related experience, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project documentation and systems including drawings, RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, cost tracking, quality documentation, and CMiC records.
• Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and general project engineering functions with engineering and Operations.
• Support the transition from preconstruction to construction by coordinating project documentation, scope definition, LNTP development, and operational readiness for project execution teams.
• Provide general project engineering support including meeting coordination, document management, cost reporting, subcontractor interface.
