The Loch Group seeks an Energy M&A Associate Attorney for a remote role based in Houston, TX. You will handle complex energy transactions for clients across the country, interfacing directly with clients and seasoned energy attorneys.

This position emphasizes upstream and midstream M&A, with a clear path toward partnership, a robust benefits package, and a 1800-hour billable target in a large-firm environment.

Qualifications

• At least three years of transactional experience.
• Substantial experience with upstream and midstream energy transactions.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Entrepreneurial, collaborative and motivated to take ownership of matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent energy companies and investors in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other strategic transactions.
• Handle upstream and midstream energy transactions.
• Direct client interaction and collaboration with experienced energy attorneys.
