Job summary

Clean Energy Counsel seeks a mid-senior M&A attorney with renewable energy experience for a fully remote role. The candidate will lead deals, manage associates, and coordinate multiple workflows in a distributed environment.

The successful applicant will review EPCs, O&Ms, PPAs, and related contracts, coordinate due diligence, and work independently and with a team to advance the firm’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition away from fossil fuels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years at a law firm serving renewable energy clients.
• Led acquisitions/dispositions of energy projects and reviewed EPCs, PPAs, and related contracts.
• Coordinate subject matter experts and manage all aspects of transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A transactions in renewable energy projects and portfolios.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues on M&A matters.
• Coordinate and lead due diligence reviews and transactional documentation.
• Adhere to firm policies and priorities.
• Perform other duties as requested by Firm management.
