Job summary

Energy Sciences is seeking a qualified energy engineer to identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities for commercial and industrial clients. You will perform energy and economic analyses, review assessments, and collaborate with customers to develop and implement projects.

This role involves site surveys, report writing, and delivering presentations. The position requires travel up to 25% and work from a home-based office in the Grand Rapids area.

Qualifications

Five years of experience in energy assessments and commissioning/retro-commissioning related work.
CEM, CEA, CMVP, EBCP, and PE certifications preferred.
Experience with engineering support for utility energy efficiency programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities.
Perform energy and economic analyses.
Review energy assessments, opportunities and calculations.
Collaborate with customers and develop projects.
Prepare reports and deliver presentations.
Conduct site surveys and facilities assessments.
Travel up to 25% for site work.
