Job summary

Energy Sciences seeks a seasoned energy engineering professional to help commercial and industrial clients reduce energy use through expert assessments, commissioning, and decarbonization strategies. The role requires collaboration with clients and internal teams to design and implement efficient energy projects.

You will perform energy analyses, support utility programs, and deliver technical documents and presentations while traveling up to 25% to client sites in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of energy assessments and commissioning/retro-commissioning-related work.
• CEM, CEA, CMVP, EBCP, and PE certification(s).
• Two years of experience with energy efficiency programs, retro-commissioning, system assessments, and energy analyses.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Perform energy and economic analyses.
• Review energy assessments, opportunities, and calculations.
• Collaborate with customers, assist with technical questions, and develop projects.
• Prepare reports and deliver presentations.
• Conduct site surveys and facilities assessments.
• Collaborate with the technical team to teach energy engineering fundamentals.
