Job summary

Energy Sciences is seeking a skilled energy engineer to help commercial and industrial clients reduce energy use through assessments, retro-commissioning, and energy-efficiency programs. The role involves on-site work, data analysis, and client-facing reporting.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in energy assessments, technical analyses, and a collaborative, proactive approach to delivering cost-effective solutions that benefit both clients and the environment.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of experience in energy assessments and commissioning-related work.
  • Two years of experience with the listed items (engineering support for utility efficiency programs; retro-commissioning of HVAC, lighting, and process systems; new building systems commissioning).
  • Certifications such as CEM, CEA, CMVP, EBCP, and PE are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities.
  • Perform energy and economic analyses.
  • Review energy assessments, opportunities, and calculations.
  • Collaborate with customers and develop projects.
  • Prepare reports and deliver presentations.
  • Conduct site surveys and facilities assessments.
  • Collaborate with technical team members on energy engineering topics.
  • Support customers with utility energy efficiency programs.
  • Travel up to 25%.
