Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring an Energy Advisor for a fully remote, phone- and email-based role supporting residential energy-efficiency projects. You will guide homeowners and contractors from initial eligibility through paperwork, program qualifications, and project completion, helping customers understand upgrades, incentives, and rebates.

This entry-level position requires a strong customer-service instinct and the ability to manage a steady, high-volume of interactions independently.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of relevant experience in customer service or high-volume communication.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems (e.g. Microsoft Office) and general technology.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Genuine interest in energy efficiency or helping customers; no specific degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to property owners and contractors via phone and email to support project conversion and contract compliance.
• Troubleshoot customer questions and provide guidance on program requirements.
• Complete rebate processing, calculations, data entry, and QA/QC documentation review with attention to detail.
• Accurately record customer and contractor interactions to meet program tracking and reporting requirements.
• Manage a steady, high volume of phone calls and emails independently in a remote setting.
• Travel occasionally for local in-person events if based in the area.
