Job summary

Medasource is seeking an experienced EMR Project Manager for a fully remote contract role. You will oversee EDI interface implementations between client systems and EMR/EHR, HIS, and LIS platforms, coordinating with clients and software vendors to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes mentoring, detailed documentation, and effective communication in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with a focus on HL7 workflows and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of EMR software implementation experience.
• Experience managing EDI interface projects between EMR/EHR, HIS and LIS.
• Strong client and vendor communication across varied technical backgrounds.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel).
• Experience training and mentoring project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive project management for EDI interface implementations between client systems and EMR/EHR, HIS, and LIS software platforms.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external clients and software vendors throughout the implementation process.
• Manage, prioritize, and elevate project tasks to ensure timely and successful interface implementation.
• Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and organized.
• Lead and facilitate project meetings, conference calls, and status updates with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues, offering solutions and process improvements.
• Train and mentor new Project Managers and team members in technical and non-technical workflows; lead training as a Primary Training PM.
• Promote strong client relationships by anticipating client needs and fostering good customer relations.
• Contribute to process improvement and development initiatives within the team.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
