Job summary

Rochester General Health is seeking an EMR Architect - Data to lead data modeling and system integration in clinical applications. This role collaborates with business partners, IT owners and project managers to define information structures and migration specs for EMR integrations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 5+ years in data modeling and architectural design, plus Epic Certification in Reporting. Remote-friendly with occasional on-site activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, Business or Engineering related field
• 5+ years of experience developing logical and physical data models
• 5+ years of experience generating database objects using a modeling tool
• In-depth understanding of programming and/or database management system concepts

Responsibilities

• Ensure changes desired comply with over-all organization process design and direction.
• Assist the customer in developing business requirements.
• Develop/document systems requirements to address business requirements that consider/assess the impact across solution areas and other internal/external systems.
• Be an advocate for the practice of modeling in technology and communicate the benefits to the organization.
• Work closely with the Interfaces team to assure interfaces are built for the long term.
