Job summary

Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY seeks an EMR Architect - Data to shape data models and system integration for Clinical Applications and PMO. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in data modeling, database objects, and healthcare data; Epic Reporting certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Computer Science, Business or Engineering fields.
• 5+ years of experience developing logical and physical data models.
• 5+ years generating database objects using a modeling tool.
• Understanding of programming and/or database management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop/document systems requirements addressing business needs.
• Design future-state workflows by collaborating with departments.
• Translate needs into interoperable system designs for EMR.
• Provide training and demonstrations as required.
• Manage project time distribution across multiple initiatives.
• Mentor for testing and release management processes.
