Job summary

Rochester Regional Health System is seeking an EHR Analyst Senior with Epic Certification to support, optimize, and advance our EHR systems within ambulatory applications. The role requires independent work, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with IT, clinicians, and vendors.

Responsibilities include advanced system support, maintenance, and cross-workflow optimization. This position offers remote work from Rochester, with a standard 40-hour week and day shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) to five (5) years of experience as an EHR Application Analyst, Health IT Analyst, Epic Analyst, or in a related healthcare information systems role.
• Current Epic Certification.
• Degree in Computer Science, healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Advanced System Support and Maintenance: primary escalation point for complex technical issues and system errors; provide day-to-day end-user support and mentor junior analysts.
• Lead and coordinate routine maintenance activities, including software updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Lead efforts to optimize performance, usability, and efficiency of the EHR system; conduct workflow assessments with operational partners.
• Take ownership of defined work streams within EHR implementation projects; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures; establish knowledge-sharing practices.
