Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution is partnering with a nationally regarded Am Law 200 firm to recruit a 3rd to 7th year Employment Litigation Associate for its Austin or Dallas, Texas offices on a remote basis.

In this defense-side role, you will handle wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, and leave-and-accommodation claims, draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, conduct depositions, and support trial preparation. Remote work is supported with collaborative in-office cycles.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of meaningful labor and employment experience, with management side defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Active admission to practice law in Texas.
• Experience with wage and hour, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA and related Texas statutes.
• Experience handling core litigation tasks: witness interviews, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, conducting and defending depositions.
• Excellent legal writing, persuasive advocacy, strong academics, and ability to run assignments with minimal supervision while collaborating with partners and teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of labor and employment disputes, including wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and leave and accommodation claims under federal and Texas law.
• Draft pleadings and dispositive motions, manage discovery and ESI, prepare for and take depositions.
• Interface directly with clients and support hearings and trial preparation as needed.
• Provide practical counseling through litigation risk and deliver strong results for sophisticated clients across industries.
• Collaborate with partners and teams in a fast-moving, professional environment.
