Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution is partnering with a nationally regarded Am Law 200 firm to recruit a 3rd to 7th year Employment Litigation Associate for its Austin or Dallas, Texas offices on a remote basis.

In this defense-side role, you will handle wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, and leave-and-accommodation claims, draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, conduct depositions, and support trial preparation. Remote work is supported with collaborative in-office cycles.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of meaningful labor and employment experience, with management side defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Active admission to practice law in Texas.
• Experience with wage and hour, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA and related Texas statutes.
• Experience handling core litigation tasks: witness interviews, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, conducting and defending depositions.
• Excellent legal writing, persuasive advocacy, strong academics, and ability to run assignments with minimal supervision while collaborating with partners and teams.

This is a defense side employment litigation role for an attorney who enjoys fast moving matters, practical counseling through litigation risk, and delivering strong results for sophisticated clients across industries.

The Opportunity

You will handle a broad range of labor and employment disputes, including wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and leave and accommodation related claims under federal and Texas law. The work includes drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, managing discovery and electronically stored information, preparing for and taking depositions, interfacing directly with clients, and supporting hearings and trial preparation as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 3rd to 7th year Employment Litigation Associate with:

• Active admission to practice law in Texas
• 3 to 7 years of meaningful labor and employment experience, with management side defense litigation experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of key federal and state frameworks, including wage and hour, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, and related Texas statutes and common claims
