Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Employee Benefits to oversee a book of business, deliver client service, and lead a small team. The role blends remote work (Eastern and Central time zones) with onsite support in Longwood, FL as needed to meet business needs.

You will manage renewals, new business setups, data management, and communications with Producers and clients, while identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in account management or employee benefits.
• Active professional licensing required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensure performance and no liability.
• Deliver outstanding service and timely responses to client requests.
• Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and collaboration.
• Direct daily tasks of Account Coordinators and producers.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Coordinate new business setup including data gathering and setup.
• Manage renewals with data updates and rate coordination.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and seek feedback.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to align outcomes.
• Identify value-added solutions for clients.
• Support training and a positive work environment.
