Job summary

North Edge Technology is seeking Field Engineers to join the Emergency Management Sustainment team. You will support Giant Voice and AVNS systems across military installations worldwide, performing installation, repair, and field service at various sites.

The role requires DoD Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain), strong communication, and ability to travel up to 75% while lifting up to 70 lbs. Remote work is offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance required or ability to obtain.
• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of Emergency Management systems: Giant Voice or LMR.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution.
• Must lift 70 lbs.
• Must be able to travel 75%.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, support, and repair field equipment at customer sites.
• Support sustainment and repair of Army Giant Voice and AVNS systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Site, and Systems Administration teams.
• Document repair information with geospatial data.
• Operate boom/scissor lifts, forklifts, and bucket trucks 20–80 ft high.
• Perform research on potential resolutions with teammates and OEM representatives.
• Communicate with internal and external partners including 3rd party support and Government customers.
• Demonstrate compliance with safety and communications laws and regulations.
