Job summary

Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Giant Voice Associate Field Engineer to support Emergency Management and Giant Voice systems at DoD installations. The role involves installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of GV, AVNS, and related communications systems.

Travel to government locations is required. The candidate should be able to read technical manuals, operate test equipment, and lift heavy equipment while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related technical experience.
• Experience with Giant Voice, LMR, AVNS, electrical, electronics, telecommunications, RF, networking, or related systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and installation instructions; use technical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Giant Voice (GV), AVNS, and related equipment.
• Support Whelen and other mass notification systems, and LMR systems (Motorola, Kenwood, Harris).
• Diagnose system issues and coordinate repairs with teams, partners, and OEMs.
• Document maintenance, repairs, configurations, and testing results.
