Job summary

North Edge Technology, an Akima company, seeks Field Engineers to join the Emergency Management Sustainment team supporting 100+ military installations worldwide. You will ensure Giant Voice and AVNS systems operate reliably and safely.

Responsibilities include field design, installation, troubleshooting, training, and on-site support at remote locations, with up to 75% travel. DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance is required (or ability to obtain one).
• High School or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Emergency Management systems: Giant Voice Exp or LMR Exp.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 70lbs.
• Must be able to travel 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, support, and repair field equipment at client sites.
• Support sustainment and repair of Army Giant Voice and AVNS hardware/software.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and sites teams; document repair information.
• Perform repairs using boom & scissor lifts, forklifts, and bucket trucks.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all field activities.
